School Council

What they do...

Our School council is made up of a group of Year 6 children who volunteer to give up their own time in order to make our school a better place. The council will work with children from all classes to suggest ideas, implement change and discuss potential changes to the school.

The School Council will:

  • Take part in and discuss key school decisions
  • Be a part of the school office team
  • Play an active part in our school becoming more environmentally friendly
  • Take part in fund raising
  • Take part in recruitment processes, as and when this is needed
  • Take part in whole school events such as parents’ evening and open evenings
  • Many other activities to be decided by the School Council
